Acetarc at GIFA 2015

We are pleased to announce that Acetarc will be exhibiting at GIFA 2015 (June 16th-20th)

This time we will be part of the British foundry equipment pavilion in hall 15 (organised by FESA)

We will announce further details, such as the actual stand number, when we have them.

We look forward to seeing you next June.

During August, Acetarc oversaw the removal of an obsolete Cupola at Northfield Foundry in Devon. Our works director, Chris headed down to Brixham to assist in the decommission of an old cupola and the installation of a brand new one.

Acetarc launches new website August 2014

Acetarc engineering are pleased to announce the launch of our new website as of 20th August 2014.

This new site is completely redesigned and replaces the previous Acetarc website created by the brilliant This Is Chemistry.

The new website has been expanded to both give a better coverage of the  services that Acetarc can provide and to give more information on the Acetarc range of foundry equipment. We hope you like it and any feedback will be most welcome.

Acetarc Engineering Co. Ltd announces partnership with Palmer Manufacturing & Supply Inc for the supply of Acetarc ladles and associated molten metal pouring equipment to the North American foundry market.

Following a recent meeting at Palmer Manufacturing & Supply Inc’s offices in Springfield Ohio between Jack Palmer, President of Palmer Manufacturing & Supply and Steven Harker, Technical Director of Acetarc Engineering Co. Ltd, Palmer Manufacturing & Supply are now appointed as the exclusive sales representatives of Acetarc with regard to North America.
The full range of Acetarc foundry ladles and associated equipment will be offered via Palmer’s extensive sales network and will compliment Palmer’s existing range of heavy-duty no-bake machinery & systems.

Whilst we have been supplying foundry ladles and associated pouring equipment to North America since 1998 and can list foundries such as Caterpillar –Mexico, East Jordan Iron Works, Rolls Royce Naval Marine Inc and Victaulic as customers, this represents a significant step forward in our commitment to the North American foundry Industry.

Acquisition of Alan Greens and Son 

Acetarc Engineering are pleased to announce, that following the acquisition last May 2011 of Alan Greens and Son Limited Gear Cutters formerly at North Road Works Sutton near Keighley, they have now been moved and integrated into Acetarc Engineering’s premises at Atley Works Keighley, where they are carrying out contracts for customers old and new.

We would like to thank everybody who took the time to visit us at Castexpo in St Louis and making the show a big success for us.

We hope that we managed to say hello to everybody who came by and look forward to seeing you all at GIFA 2015 and in Minneapolis in 2016.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to the Palmer team who helped to make our first Castexpo run smoothly and did a great job in getting our equipment to and from the show.
